Women-on-Target, (Rifle) 9:00am - 4:00pm

The Women-on-Target class is a women's only program that is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper use of a rifle.

This course is 7 hours long and includes classroom presentation and range time. We encourage you to bring your own rifles and ammunition (.22 caliber a minimum). However, if you don't have your own rifle, arrangements can be made by contacting us for a rental. Students will receive a manual and will learn:

• NRA's rules for safe gun handling
• Rifle model parts and operation
• Ammunition types and operation
• Shooting fundamentals
• How to clean a rifle
• Firearm storage
• Opportunities for skill development

This is a great opportunity to learn about and shoot a rifle in a safe, low stress environment with your family members and friends.

Be sure to bring a lunch as well as eye and ear protection.
